The results of the open match fished on the Shropshire Union Canal at Shebdon last Sunday were as follows:
1. Pete Follows 5.6.0 (mostly roach on pinkie)   2. Mick Price 5.2.0 (good roach on pinkie)   3. Bob Pritchard 3.9.0 (mostly small roach on bread punch).
The next open match on the S.U.C. at Shebdon is scheduled to be fished on Sunday, October 26. Draw 9am - fish 10am - 3pm, fee £10 all in.
The next match in the series on the Newport Canal will be fished Sat 18th with further matches scheduled on the following Saturdays: Nov. 1 and 15, Dec. 6. Draw 9am, fish 10am - 3pm, fee £10 all in.

The results for the match fished on Middle Pool last Sunday were as follows:
1. Gill Mullinder 3.7.0   Joint 2. Brian Mullinder and Paul Garry 1.7.0   4. Colin Clemmett 0.14.0. There will be a knock-up match on Leegomery bottom pool this Sunday. Draw 8am, fish 8.30am - 1.30pm.

MARKET DRAYTON ANGLERS
The Juniors fished their match on Common Pool last Saturday.
Jake McHugh, fishing peg 17, comfortly won the under-16's section despite losing a good carp in the lilies. Mike Pickstone - peg 13 - picked up silvers fishing the feeder to the island.
In the under-12's category Connor McGuinness - peg 21 - kept himself busy picking up silvers throughout the match. He also lost a good fish in the lilies.
Results: Under-16's : 1. Jake McHugh 2.5.0   2. Mike Pickstone 0.9.0   3. Dan Pickstone 0.3.0.
Under-12's : Connor McGuinness 2.1.0.
Points league to date (with one match remaining to be fished on 1st November):
Under-16's: Shane Roberts 88pts, Mike Pickstone 87pts, Jake McHugh 79pts, Dan Pickstone 72pts, Hayden Viggers 52pts.
Under-12's: Lloyd Hollinshead 60pts, Connor McGuinness 59pts.
There are two 2007/2008 junior trophies still to be presented. Hayden Viggers won the Angler of the Year trophy with Jeffery Pollard still to receive the Under-12's Winner trophy.

The results of the match fished on Parkers Pool last Sunday were as follows:
1. Keith Palin - peg 16 : 9.15.0 (included a 5lb carp and skimmers)   2. Stuart Clorley - peg 15 : 9.0.0 (skimmers and roach)   3. Mick Groom - peg 4 : 8.13.0 (skimmers, roach and perch)   4. Dave Watkins - peg 10 : 7.10.0 (skimmers).
The next match is scheduled to be fished on Whitewater, Whitchurch, on Sunday October 26. Draw 8.30am.

The results for the match fished on the Newport Canal last Sunday were as follows:

Members fished their match on Maverley Farm bottom pool last weekend with the following results:

AUDLEM AC
The match fished on Hough Pool - Prees - last Sunday was hard due to the change in temperatures. There was carp hooked and lost and the match ended in a tight finish.
1. Dave Watkins 10.10.0 - carp and roach.   2. Keith Palin 10.2.0 - 2 carp.   3. Ian Watson 8.8.0 - small carp, crucians and roach.
